We have done alot this summer, but alas my wonderful camera died sometime in July, erasing my memory card before I could dump my camera. So I can't show you pictures of my garden, or our trips to Chesapeake Beach, and to the farmers market, sigh, but I can show you some pictures from our trip to Belle Grove, courtesy of my mother-in-law Stacey's camera. Belle Grove is in the Shenandoah, and made for a fun day trip. Stacey had wanted to go for some time so we packed our lunch and headed west. Well, southwest I guess.
Emmett loved the lawn, and the COWS, athough I don't know if I got a picture of them.

It was a gorgeous day, and they had the most amazing green grass, white fences, and the brightest red barn I have ever seen. I think we were more impressed with the grounds than with the house...blah, blah, history, blah, blah...just kidding, that was great too, but you can look it up. http://www.bellegrove.org/
